The Project activity brings a know-how in the design and production of Uninterrupted Power Supply to its customers (brand Chloride).

The Standard business develops, manufactures and markets DC products (rectifiers, energy blocks...) and safety lighting (BAES, LSC and central sources under the AEES brand). Positioned in a very dynamic and responsive market, in France and abroad, our business is experiencing sustained growth, accelerated in 2020 and 2021 by the launch of new products that are very successful.

As an Apprentice Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of batteries, and will be mobile throughout the region to build and commission batteries.

You will be responsible for general warehousing duties.

You may also be required to assist our team of field engineers when pair working is required.

This role is an opportunity for an apprentice who would like to progress to a Field Service Engineer role in 4 to 5 year’s time with suitable training and qualifications.

Missions:

Our clients are located throughout the UK and expect the critical systems to operate 24/7, therefore a reasonable amount of travel to client’s locations will be required, including the requirement to stay overnight away from home.

Profile:

Education: Maths and Science based school qualifications desirable.HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent also desirable, but this may be provided for the correct candidate as day release college.

Experience: This is a starting apprentice position. The candidate should have practical hand tool skills.

Skills: Computer literate (Pack Office), excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, self-starter, ability to plan, organize and manage time effectively with ability to work under pressure.

Clean, valid UK driving license desirable
