Civils Site Manager

Are you an experienced Civils Site Manager looking for your next freelance opportunity? We have an exciting role available in Glasgow City Centre with a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor on a large groundworks project.

Position: Freelance Civils Site Manager

Location: Glasgow City Centre
Rate: Up to 300 per day
Start Date: Immediate

Key Requirements:

• SMSTS Certification (essential)
• First Aid Certificate (preferable)
• Proven experience in civil engineering, particularly in groundworks projects
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to site management
• Ability to liaise effectively with the project team and subcontractors to ensure safety and quality standards are met

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all on-site activities for the groundworks project
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Coordinate subcontractors and workforce, ensuring work aligns with project timelines
• Monitor progress and quality, identifying any issues early to minimize delays
