- We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Portable Appliance Tester (PAT Tester) to join our growing team.
- You’ll be responsible for carrying out electrical safety testing in line with current IET Code of Practice, on a wide range of portable appliances across commercial, industrial, and office environments, predominately in the Highlands.

The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Portable Appliance Tester (PAT Tester) to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for carrying out electrical safety testing in line with current IET Code of Practice, on a wide range of portable appliances across commercial, industrial, and office environments, predominately in the Highlands.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, travelling to different sites, and ensuring high safety standards for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct PAT testing on portable electrical appliances in line with current regulations
- Accurately record and submit test results using company systems
- Identify faults, hazards, and non-compliant equipment
- Communicate clearly with clients on-site
- Maintain all equipment provided
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- PAT Testing qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2377) desirable
- Experience in PAT testing is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Full UK driving licence
- Must have use of personal vehicle to travel to and from site
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
