Job Requirements/Description

The Role

We are looking for two welder/fabricators to carry out high-quality welding and fabrication work in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Our welders/fabricators are proud to produce quality products that are supplied to the Agricultural and industrial markets. Generally using MIG welding to produce products as per engineering drawings, preparing the materials as necessary – this can include weld prep, grinding and cleaning.

Fabricating and assemble components to speciation. Welds need to be inspected for accuracy, strength and quality compliance. You would also be involved in finishing activities such as grinding and polishing.

Identification of defects and reporting these in a timely and efficient manner, working on your own and possibly within a team for larger products. You must at all times adhere to our health and safety rules and PPE requirements.

  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes and materials
  • Good manual dexterity and coordination
  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices
  • Teamworking and communication skills


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a welder in fabrication environment
  • Relevant welding certifications desirable – in house coding applies due to accreditation requirements
  • TIG welding experience is desirable
  • Apprenticeship or formal training in welding/fabrication
  • Experience working with structural steel, stainless steel or aluminum
