Sports Coaches

We are excited to grow our sports coaching programme and would love to hear from you! We are hiring lead and assistant coaches for athletics. 

You will be responsible for delivering fun, engaging, and inspiring classes, encouraging participants to achieve the maximum potential for their individual needs and abilities. You will assist in creating activity session plans and implementing best practice training protocols in line with our standards, leading to exceptional customer satisfaction.  

We are looking for friendly, positive, and enthusiastic coaches that have:  

• Previous experience in delivering quality, entertaining, and engaging coaching practices. 
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse group of people of differing abilities, stages, and ages.  
• Great listening, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to convey information and provide feedback.  
• A sports-based qualification beyond the introductory level.

Opportunities available:

• Level 1 Athletics coach - Part-time, permanent, 7.5 hours per week across 2 venues - Ainslie Park Leisure Centre - Thursday & Meadowbank Sports Centre - Tuesday & Friday  
• Level 2 Athletics coach - 0-hours contract - Ainslie Park Leisure Centre - Thursday

Salary: dependent on qualifications - £24,000 (Level 2) and £22,779 (Level 1) pro rata for part-time (£12.25 - £12.91 per hour) Part-time, permanent position 7.5 hours per week & 0-hours contract Locations – Meadowbank Sports Centre & Ainslie Park Leisure Centre
