Summary of the role
Due to a new migration project and overall growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Consultant to support the delivery of comprehensive, effective, best practice Risk Management processes to enable us to meet our corporate governance, regulatory and clients' requirements.
Operating within a Line 2 Risk function, in this role, you will advise and assist Line 1 Risk Teams and Risk Owners across the organisation on all aspects of the Risk Management Framework, covering both operational and strategic risks. You will also support the delivery of Operational Risk Management for clients and help implement strategic changes to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the BAU framework.

What you'll be doing
- Overseeing the delivery of major transformation / migration programmes, assessing all aspects of risk that could impact on BAU risk profile, providing risk opinions to Exec stakeholders and clients
- Ensuring business readiness criteria is met for migrations, considering customer outcomes in all aspects of migration activity
- Providing oversight of line 1 Risk Teams and Line 1 business management to ensure the risk management framework is complied with and operating effectively
- Producing Risk Reports for Clients and internal stakeholder / committees on the
- Reviewing and challenging the adequacy of Risk Reports produced by other areas of the business prior to submission to the Risk and Compliance Committee
- Liaising with clients as needed to discuss any matters relating to the risk management processes, issue resolution or reporting conducted on their behalf
- Playing a key role in delivering contractual obligations and SLAs in respect of risk management to clients
- Providing key input to the continued development of the Diligenta Risk Management Framework, assist the business in understanding and managing their risks
- Providing education, guidance and support to business management in the identification and assessment of risks and controls as well as the use of the risk frameworks and tools
What we're looking for
- Prior, significant experience working in Financial Services
- Relevant risk qualification or a proven track record of achieving roles in a similar environment (at least 5 years)
- Conversant with best practice Enterprise Risk Management processes and frameworks
- Strong relationship management skills, capable of dealing with Executive Management, clients and third-party suppliers
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentational skills
- Strong technical knowledge of risk management software tools and their use
- Well versed with MS Excel and reporting skill
Salary: From £57,498 - £71,873 per annum
