The continued growth and success of our Company has created a vacancy for an experienced Estimator to join our expanding team.

About the role:

As an Estimator, you would be primarily responsible for the following:

• Managing allocated projects from receipt to submission.
• Review and prepare tender documents.
• Ensuring timeous delivery of tenders using different methods.
• Manage client and sub-contractor enquiries and relationships.
• Review client drawings and specifications.
• Overseeing projects to ensure costs remain in line with forecasts.
• Hours of work Mon to Fri: 08.00 – 16.00, however please note that out of hours work will be required also noting there will be travel throughout the UK with this role.

Essential

• A full UK driving licence is essential and a requirement to travel throughout the UK.
• Organised and the ability to multitask.
• Strong numerical skills & attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• A basic understanding of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
• Able to use own initiative. 

Desirable

• A recognised Construction/Estimating qualification or appropriate hands-on experience in the industry.
• HSE awareness.
• Ability to read Construction drawings and understand technical specifications.
• Experience in preparing costings, BoQ’s etc. 
• Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Fire Safety.
