Marie Curie has around 45 Patrons who support the charity across the UK, either within their own communities or in relation to one of our nine hospices.
As some of our most senior volunteers, our Patrons help us be there for anyone with an illness they're likely to die from, and those close to them.
Marie Curie's Patrons also help to raise awareness about our work and help us with a wide range of campaign and fundraising activities.

- Provide compassionate care in the community by supporting patients with daily tasks and conducting overnight shifts.
- Ideal candidates will have experience in healthcare or a caring role, and strong communication skills.

£40,000 - £45,000 a year
- Lead the development of high-value donor relationships, securing five and six-figure donations to support Marie Curie's mission.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong networking skills, a background in fundraising, and strategic thinking abilities.
- This full-time role is based in Edinburgh, offering flexibility with hours and the chance to make a meaningful impact in end-of-life care.
