We are looking for an experienced Electrical Quality Auditor to audit and ensure compliance with quality standards across a large-scale EV charge point installation operation.

Hours

Full time: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm

About the role

This role is hybrid position covering Scotland with travel required. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections and audits ensuring that all electrical installations meet current industry regulations, client specifications and safety standards.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will spend your days travelling between Bumblebee installations carrying out quality and safety audits whilst reporting back the findings.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced electrician who is looking for a role away from the tools.

Day-to-day duties

  • Conduct inspections and audits against electrical regulations post-installation.
  • Audit compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and local building codes.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Manager and wider team to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify and audit the rectification of non-conformances and corrective/preventative actions.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports for external audit.
  • Collaborate with health and safety teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Essential skills

  • NVQ 3 in electrical installations
  • Full UK driving licence
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations, regulations and standards
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
