HGV Class 1 Driver Night Trunk (Double Man)

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a truck or van, to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured for transport
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize accidents or injuries

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver or delivery driver
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience with flatbed trucks is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with local roads and routes in the area of operation

Skills:
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle in various weather conditions and terrains
- Strong organizational skills to effectively plan routes and manage time for timely deliveries
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of cargo
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members

Pay: Up to £39,000.00 per year
