The Witchery, one of Scotland's most iconic dining destinations, is seeking an experienced Night Porter to join its dedicated front of house team.

Set within a collection of historic buildings dating back to 1595, at the gates of Edinburgh Castle, The Witchery is renowned for its dramatic interiors, candlelit atmosphere, and legendary hospitality. With richly decorated dining rooms and nine theatrical suites, it has become one of the most celebrated restaurant-with-rooms experiences in Scotland, attracting guests from around the world.

Our package includes:

• The on-target earning potential for this role is £38,120 per annum, comprising a base salary of £14.00 per hour (based on 40 hours per week; £29,120 per annum), plus a substantial share of staff gratuities estimated at £9,000 per annum paid weekly
• Full-time permanent contract, working 12-hour shifts (7pm -7am) 3 days on 3 days off
• 28 days' holiday, rising to 32 days after 5 years' service

While previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, we will provide extensive training and will help you to develop your skills in a nurturing environmenr

Candidates should possess strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must also be comfortable working independently overnight and taking initiative when required.
