Contract Manager - SEC, Glasgow
£43,775 - pro rata
40 hours per week, on a fixed term contract for maternity cover.
Job Overview:
The Contract Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation and management of the requirements of the agreed contract, whilst managing, supporting and developing the current team of Operations Managers, contracted Security Officers and casual pool of frontline employees.
This role will also be intrinsic in providing support and coaching to the Senior Security Supervisors/Team Leaders/Managers employed on the contract to ensure continued business success.
This role will require working evenings and weekends as part of a regional Events Management Team, working in line with the needs of the business. The role will, from time to time, be required to support operational delivery at the contract and with other client accounts.

Additional reporting/working relationships: Training, Resourcing, HR, Casual Events Workforce, SSUK Management, clients, Sales, compliance, SSUK Operational Managers and Finance
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Constructively challenges current thinking and practice, offering new ideas, alternatives or improvements to existing products, services and approaches.
Ownership of site documentation and edits such as Assignment Instructions, Crowd Management Plans, Operating Plans, SOPs/WOWs, Risk Assessments and Health and Safety requirements.
Operational oversight for developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management and/or Investigation.
Manage and support HR and Employee Relations for the team of operations managers, employed staff and casual workers, both within the client service.
Identify new opportunities for new business, additions to existing business and non contractual work, as well as a local knowledge of competitor activity as well as representing G4S and Customer at relevant industry events.
Ownership of site logistics and equipment such as vehicles, uniform/PPE and transport.
Ongoing support, coaching and mentoring of the workforce to ensure all G4S workers are performing their role correctly when on site, maintaining all elements of public safety.
