Set within Aberdeen’s prestigious West End, Angusfield Care Home is one of the city’s most established and respected care services. Blending traditional character with high-quality nursing and residential care, Angusfield has built a long-standing reputation for warmth, professionalism and consistency within the local community.

This is a rare leadership opportunity arising following the retirement of the current Home Manager after 27 years in post; a reflection of the stability, culture and loyalty that exists within the home.

Now part of Care Concern Group, Angusfield enters an exciting new chapter with the support, investment and progression opportunities of one of the UK’s fastest-growing care providers, while continuing to build on the strong reputation and standards already embedded within the service.

The home operates successfully with strong occupancy, an experienced staff team and excellent local reputation, making this an ideal opportunity for an established Registered Home Manager looking to lead a well-performing service with genuine long-term potential.

  • Pension scheme
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave

  • Strong occupancy and positive local reputation
  • Stable leadership and workforce culture
  • Consistently ‘Good’ Care Inspectorate history
  • Excellent community and professional relationships
  • A balanced and sustainable resident mix
  • Zero reliance on agency staffing

Residents and families consistently value the warmth of the home, the professionalism of the team and the consistency of care delivery.

The Opportunity

As Registered Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the performance, culture and future development of Angusfield Care Home.
This is an opportunity to inherit a respected, stable and well-performing service and lead it thoughtfully into its next phase under Care Concern Group.

Your role will focus on maintaining high standards of care and governance, supporting and developing an established team and ensuring residents and families continue to experience the safe, compassionate and person-centred care Angusfield is known for.

Alongside operational oversight, you will play an important role in shaping the home’s future identity as part of a growing and ambitious care group; balancing continuity and stability with fresh ideas, innovation and long-term development.

You will be supported by an experienced and highly regarded Regional Director alongside a strong operational structure that allows Home Managers the autonomy to lead confidently while never feeling isolated.

About You

You are an experienced Home Manager with a strong track record of leading successful nursing, residential or mixed-care services.

You understand how to balance quality care, commercial performance, team culture and regulatory compliance while maintaining a visible and supportive leadership presence throughout the home.

You lead with emotional intelligence, professionalism and consistency. You build trust naturally with residents, families, staff teams and external professionals, and understand the importance of protecting culture within an established service.

Most importantly, you recognise that successful homes are built through people, stability and leadership credibility, not constant disruption.

A nursing qualification would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate.

Leadership Style & Cultural Fit

Angusfield requires a leader who is calm, credible and people-focused.

You will be visible within the home, approachable to staff and families and confident in setting clear standards and expectations. This role suits a leader who values collaboration, consistency and long-term relationship building over short-term change.

The successful candidate will understand the responsibility that comes with inheriting a home that already performs well and will be motivated by the opportunity to strengthen and evolve that success over time.

Why Angusfield?

Because opportunities like this are rare.

Angusfield offers the chance to lead a respected Aberdeen care home with deep local roots, a stable workforce and an excellent platform for continued success; all supported by the resources, investment and progression pathways of a major UK care group.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful long-term impact within a home that already has strong foundations and a reputation worth protecting.

Apply today and lead the next chapter of one of Aberdeen’s most respected care homes.
