Cleaning Operative
- Key duties include cleaning offices and kitchens, performing deep cleans, ensuring premises are safe and disinfected, and providing excellent customer service.
- The ideal candidate should be well presented, have previous cleaning experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6AM - 9AM; benefits include 24/7 GP access, mental health support, and a cycle to work scheme.

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday, 6AM - 9AM, 15 hours per week
PAY RATE: £13.45 per hour

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Hoovering/mopping, cleaning offices and kitchens
- Carrying out deep cleans as required and using Vacuums and small scrubber drier – training provided
- Ensuring premises are safe and disinfected regularly
- Removing waste, replenishing consumables and supplies and attending reactive jobs (spillages)
- Customer Service as working along Client and Client’s staff
Person Specification:
- Must be well presented and good communicator
- Must have a can-do attitude and polite and approachable demeanour
- Hardworking and proactive, good timekeeping and attendance record
Essential
- Previous cleaning experience preferred with focus on unsupervised work and prioritising workload
- Strong customer service/care and leadership skills
- Problem solving and time management skills desired
- Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative
- Flexible and proactive attitude essential
- Understanding & knowledge of health and safety policies
- Needs to represent ABM values on site by being presentable, uniformed, and helpful at all times Willing to go the extra mile
- Always follow Company Policies and procedures
- Ensure that the work environment and equipment are safe and well maintained
- Identify and correct hazardous conditions
