Office Support and Nursery Practitioner Multi-Site Role

We are looking for an organised and approachable individual to join our team in a key office-based role, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our early years settings.

This position will be primarily based in Edinburgh, with occasional travel to provide support across our settings in Whitburn and Glasgow.

Role Type: Full-time / Permanent

About the Role

This is a varied position combining operational support with a visible front-facing presence:

• 50% Office-Based Responsibilities: Supporting the daily running of the setting through coordination tasks, managing communications, maintaining records, and assisting with general organisation.
• 50% Front-of-House Support: Acting as a welcoming first point of contact for families and visitors, handling enquiries, and ensuring a professional and friendly environment.
• Additional Nursery Support (as required): Providing hands-on support within nursery rooms when needed, helping maintain ratios and ensuring continuity of care for children.

You will play an important role in covering busy periods, including lunch times, ensuring continuity across the setting and supporting the wider team where needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar office or coordination role (experience within an early years setting is desirable)
• A full and relevant Childcare or Early Years Qualification
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confident using digital systems and handling information accurately
• A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to work across multiple locations
• A friendly, professional manner and a team-focused attitude
