At The Caledonian Edinburgh, our kitchens operate with precision, pace and immaculate standards. We are seeking a Casual Kitchen Porter to uphold the cleanliness, safety and organisation that enable our culinary team to deliver exceptional, luxury-standard dining experiences.

The Role:.
- Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene and kitchen safety
- Support chefs by ensuring equipment, cookware and utensils are available and ready
- Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Keep kitchen and back-of-house areas tidy, organised and hazard-free
- Uphold brand, hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, surfaces, floors and storage areas
- Ensure all crockery, cookware and utensils are washed, sanitised and stored correctly
- Manage waste disposal, recycling and chemical usage safely
- Prepare workstation areas before service and complete end-of-shift duties
- Communicate effectively with culinary and service teams to support seamless operations
