We’re now looking for an Associate Impact Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-impact programmes and training that make a real difference.'
The Role
Working closely with the Associate Director of Skills Infrastructure, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-impact innovation, support the built environment sector to grow through upskilling and reskilling. This is a varied and externally-facing role, where you will coordinate multi-partner innovation projects, build and sustain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, and contribute to projects and training delivery.
You will be instrumental in translating complex sector challenges into practical, impactful solutions, working across industry, academia and the public sector to drive meaningful outcomes. Operating at the heart of a dynamic innovation ecosystem, you will connect people, ideas and opportunities—helping to unlock innovation, accelerate progress and deliver lasting economic and environmental impact.

Who we’re looking for
As an Associate Impact Manager, you will play a key role in delivering and developing high-quality learning and innovation activities that support the transformation of the built environment sector. You will lead the delivery of engaging practical and online training programmes for both industry and education audiences, while contributing to the development of new learning content and training interventions aligned to emerging sector needs. Alongside training delivery, you will coordinate and manage a range of projects, working closely with partners, businesses, education providers and industry stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. We are looking for a collaborative and proactive individual who is passionate about driving innovation within the built environment and thrives in a fast-paced, partnership-driven environment.
You will bring experience of supporting business growth, innovation or workforce development activities, alongside a strong understanding of the UK or Scottish construction sector and its evolving challenges. With excellent project coordination skills, strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, you will help translate ideas into action and deliver meaningful impact across the sector. Experience within the built environment, particularly in areas such as Passivhaus, retrofit, MMC, digital innovation and construction trade experience or skills development, would be highly advantageous.
A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel will support your ability to connect Partners across, Scotland, UK-wide and internationally.
