Role: Sales Administrator
Location: Insch depot
Reports to: Sales Supervisor
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week)
SUITABLE CANDIDATES:
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, positive individual who is outgoing and personable and will be able to work hard on their own initiative. Main duties will be taking and processing orders over the phone, making outbound and taking inbound sales calls. Based within travelling distance of our Insch depot.
WHO WE ARE:
Oilfast are the fastest growing and now one of the largest fuel distributors in Scotland. In 12 years, we have grown to a level where we have 10 depots across the UK (mostly in Scotland). We have a large fleet of tankers and flatbeds delivering diesel, gas oil, home heating oil, lubricants, AdBlue®, gas bottles and fuel tanks out of those depots to a range of agricultural, commercial and domestic customers. We also sell fuel cards for drawing out of our network of sites across the country.
We are a very ambitious company with a great team full of experience and enthusiasm. We are looking for a like-minded individual for this role.
ROLE SUMMARY:
To work as part of a small team dealing with customer orders, banking, admin and customer pricing.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
– Sales administration, processing orders
– Confidently interact with both commercial and domestic prospective and agricultural customers to generate business
– Handle any customer service issues with your customers with a view to resolving amicably
– Work as part of a small, committed team
– Provide your line manager with lead updates on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
– Outbound sales calling will be required
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
– Excellent telephone manner
– A high degree of self-motivation and drive
– Attention to detail
– Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
– Must be computer literate
– Excellent communication skills (email, telephone)
– Strong commercial awareness
– A confident and determined approach
– Experience in making outbound sales calls and building a customer base
– The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
– The ability and desire to sell, if necessary
